• Train: Starting from Tokyo, you can catch the JR Hitachi - Tokiwa train (departing from Ueno station to Katsuta station) with trips every 30 minutes. After getting off at Katsuta station, take the Ibaraki Kotsu bus or take a taxi (takes about 15 minutes) to the east or west gate of the park.
• Train: The nearest station is Katsuta Station on the JR Jyoban line. If traveling by Super Hitachi J express train from Ueno station, it will take about 70 minutes. Traveling by local train will arrive in 2 to 2.5 hours.
• Bus: Take the Tokyo - Ibaraki Kotsu "Tokai, Hitachinaka" bus, travel time is 2 hours and get off at the west gate of the park - Kaihinkoen Nishiguchi, Seaside Park West Gate. Buy your entrance ticket from the ticket machine in the middle. After buying the ticket, you just need to move to the Kochia Japanese grass hill.
