Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Ben Thanh Market

Pick up at your hotel and city tour begins at the century-old Reunification Palace also known as Independence Palace, built on the sight of the former Norodom palace, a landmark of Ho Chi Minh City which witnessed the growth of Ho Chi Minh City during peacetime and throughout the Vietnam War until its end in 1975.

Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French colonial times, including a stop at the impressive Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, discover the magnificent neon-Romanesque architecture as you take in the tranquil atmosphere inside. At the opposite Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, learn about this significant landmark – the busiest post office in Vietnam. Next visit to War Remnants museum where the relics of the War are displayed in all their terrible glory.

Time permits, take a look at the embroidery workshop of XQ Vietnam before a visit to Ben Thanh Market, a lively market in central District 1, where your guide can help you barter for goods. End the tour at your hotel.

2. Mekong Delta Tour: 

Arrive to My Tho town, visit Vinh Trang pagoda an oldest ancient one in Southern Vietnam. Known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. Its architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture

Then transfer to the pier boat for getting on a motorized boat. Take a leisurely boat ride in Tien River to enjoy fresh air, to see the peaceful life of the local people, Passing the stilt house, the fishing floating farm, the four Islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, Unicorn)

After passing Rach Mieu bridge, we disembark at Thoi Son Islet that locates on Phoenix Island. Take a leisurely walking on the village paths, visit local people’s home, orchard garden and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.

Then visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Local people also have python farm for those tourists, who like adventure can take a photo with pythons.

Take a hand- rowed sampan through the creeks for sightseeing the natural water coconut trees a symbol in the Delta areas. Return to the motorized boat then cruising to Ben Tre province, visit coconut candy workshop to know how to make delicious candies by hand.

Having lunch at Riverside restaurant. After lunch, cruising to Unicorn Island to visit crocodile farm and visit the remains of Coconut belief., Then take a short walking through the narrow village path to the car. Return to Ho Chi Minh city around 6.00pm.

Take a Flight to Nha Trang in the evening or late afternoon

Though we'll have grown content with Hoi An life, this morning the show must go on. After all, the former imperial town of Hue has invited us over, and we'd be foolish to turn it down. Intricately decorated pavilions, lotus flower ponds, and colourful artworks mark our first sightseeing venture in Hue. Totally in awe of the Imperial Palace, we move on to the 7-story Thien Mu Pagoda & learn of the horrific history of the Hue Buddhist massacre as well as taking in a cyclo ride to see the city

Today we fly out of Hue in the direction of Vietnam's time capsule capital. A trio of influences and filled with romance, 2 nights here will see us utterly smitten. With an epic fusion of French, Chinese & Vietnamese influence, you'll easily fall in love with Hanoi. Our time will be spent weaving through a maze of 36 trading streets filled with colourful goods for sale, and unwinding in the walled gardens of the Temple of Literature. Later, why not take a stroll to the famous Train Street for an egg coffee or check out the quirky shows at the Water Puppet Theatre before topping the night off with a few Bia Hoi's.
